Whispers of Nature
The Wings & Whispers collection explores the quiet language of nature through birds, butterflies, moths, herbs, and florals, woven into layered compositions that feel both botanical and symbolic. Designed as a cohesive world of repeating patterns and illustrative scenes, the collection translates effortlessly across fabric, wallpaper, and seasonal stationery, creating a sense of gentle storytelling within everyday objects.
Each design balances intricate detail with soft rhythm, inviting the viewer to pause and notice the subtle movement of wings, petals, and natural forms. The palette and compositions are intentionally atmospheric, blending illustrative clarity with a sense of wonder and stillness.

Woodcut Edition, 2025
A special extension of the collection explores a woodcut-inspired variation, emphasizing texture, contrast, and carved mark-making. This version distills the original illustrations into bolder forms, highlighting the natural structure of each subject while maintaining the collection’s poetic and atmospheric tone. The result feels more grounded and tactile, while still connected to the same symbolic natural world.

Design Process
This collection began with hand-drawn studies of natural forms—birds in motion, moth wing structures, and botanical references observed in both real and imagined environments. Rather than isolating individual elements, I focused on how these motifs interact within layered compositions, allowing negative space, repetition, and flow to guide the visual narrative.
The designs were developed as both standalone illustrations and seamless patterns, ensuring adaptability across products like fabric, wallpaper, and printed goods. Digital refinement focused on preserving line quality while enhancing rhythm and balance across repeats.
