Enchanted Mushroom Homes
A whimsical series of twelve illustrations exploring the hidden world of mushroom dwellings, where tiny inhabitants live among towering fungi, winding roots, and enchanted forest details. Each piece captures a unique sanctuary—some nestled deep within cozy interiors, others opening into expansive, magical landscapes—inviting the viewer to imagine the quiet lives and stories unfolding inside. The collection blends softness and intricate detail with a sense of wonder, inspired by nature, folklore, and the idea of finding home in unexpected places.

Design Process
Each piece begins with a time-intensive charcoal study, where I explore the full composition and layout. This stage creates a loose, expressive foundation before moving into a more refined sketch, where the details of the dwellings and environments are carefully expanded and developed. The final sketch then becomes the foundation for layered gouache painting, where I gradually build depth through color, contrast, and atmosphere. I focus on creating rich, tactile surfaces—embracing brush texture, subtle imperfections, and tonal variation—so each sanctuary feels lived-in, dimensional, and full of quiet magic.
